Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actor as well as a performer. The parents of Kristen Bell are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. She was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan and was raised by a Polish mother and a father that is German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen discovered a passion to perform on a young stage. In 1992, she was awarded her first role at the auditions for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mom signed her up at an agency prior to when her 13th birthday. She was then featured in TV commercials and newspaper ads. In addition, she is beginning individual acting classes. Bell appeared on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club and the drama club. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the role of the lead Dorothy character. Bell later moved in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell dropped out of school in 2001, and began taking on the role of Becky of Tom Sawyer. The was the same year that she also had her first credit debut in Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her character was not shown in the credit sequence. Bell played in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
